Our Citizenship Support Program is assisting displaced persons become permanent citizens.

We have an exciting announcement direct from the border of Thailand and Burma, one of our citizenship and scholarship support beneficiaries has just been granted Thai citizenship. It comes after 2 years of hard work from the beneficiary and their family, Madavee from Kidlaunch Thailand, Echo International Aid and most importantly your support and generosity. Without your support this would not have been possible.

Scholarship support

Our citizenship program provides assistance for stateless and displaced people along the Thai-Burma border to obtain their own citizenship. Even if they are born in Thailand, citizenship is not automatically granted. With citizenship comes greater opportunity and more rights: access to healthcare, education, unrestricted travel within Thailand; and avoids exploitation in the work force.

This huge achievement comes in perfect time for his university graduation next year, enabling his 5 years of studies to be officially recognised.

From all of the Echo International Aid team and our beneficiaries, we truly thank you for your unconditional support.
